Ngwedi’ s working career has mainly been in South Africa Coal Mining Industry and to a small extent also within the locomotive service sector where he has started working experience as a stores assistant in 1991.
Ngwedi also spend two years in the Silica Mining Sector where he fulfilled the role of Engineering Manager as well as that of Mine Manager
Whilst working at Xtratacoal SA as Colliery Engineer, Ngwedi took keen interest and was heavily involved in the training and development of apprentices, he remains a training and development enthusiast
Ngwedi holds two Government Certificates of Competency, one for Mechanical Engineers (Mine and Works) and the other for Mine Managers (Coal). This led to Ngwedi being appointed in various capacities within the industry. Having completed his apprenticeship several years earlier Ngwedi was appointed as an Engineer in 2002 and went on to become a Mine Manager prior to leaving formal employment to pursue entrepreneurial journey prior to founding Legare Mining Services in 2009.
Throughout his career Ngwedi had stints in companies such as, BECSA, Xtratacoal SA, Petmin and Homeland Energy Coal of SA, wherein he gained valuable operational and management experience. Ngwedi played an instrumental role in management project implementation as well as management of key performance indicators relating to enhancing overall performance.
Ngwedi shares the view that corporate success and social welfare are interdependent. It is this strong believe that influenced Ngwedi to always play a critical role in fostering harmonious relationships between the organizations he worked for and surrounding communities. Ngwedi is a mechanical Engineer by profession and has also enrolled and completed various management development programmes throughout his career
Ngwedi assumed the current responsibility as Managing Director of Legare Mining Services (Pty) Ltd effectively from its inception in 2009.
Lina is an engine which keeps Legare Mining Services Office alive. She is not only a company administrator but a face of the company as well. Lina’s key duties include: Management of companies accounting services, overall administration of head office as well as coordination of functions with various stake holders. Lina provides administrative support for operational teams and monitor the production profiles from the sites.
Lina holds a Certificate in Marketing and also study Diploma in Office Management with Tswane University of Technology. In 2009 she needed to do experiential learning in order to obtain her Diploma, she was given an opportunity by MSC Business College (Witbank/Middleburg) as Assistant Administrator/Marketing. Due to hardworking, dedicated and patient in 2010 she was appointed as Marketing Manager for MSC Business College (Witbank/Middleburg) till May 2011. She took an opportunity to work for Standard Bank (Zambezi) as a teller till March 2012. She then joined KBC Health and safety (BECSA) as a Booking Administrator till 2014.
Lina’s key competencies include: communication skills both written and verbal, ability to multi-task, prioritization of projects as well as being customer oriented.
She able to complete complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision. Lina as a person who holds high values of Integrity, honesty, commitment and productivity, values which she strive to achieve at all times. Lina is currently studying towards Financial Management course. Lina has been managing Legare Mining Services office effectively from 2014. The year 2020 marks a celebration of a six years’ service with the company.

Tebogo is a proud product of Legare Mining Services internal grooming processes. Tebogo possesses the qualities of being an enthusiastic, dedicated versatile person with an outstanding and excellent attitude to work. He is a highly motivated reliable with vast of experience of working as a Site Manager. Tebogo is a trustworthy person and take all tasks given with great seriousness and execute them to book. Tebogo possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with the clients and Senior Management on detailed issues. He enjoys and operates always well under pressure, difficult condition and able to resolve conflicts.
Responsibilities:
Manage day to day activities (Manage MHSC compliance, Engineering and Production) on site. Ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and leasing with quantity surveyors to monitor costs. Minimize costs, maintain good operational planning to reach daily and monthly targets. Making safety inspection (assessing and minimizing risks) and ensuring site safety. Finding ways to prevent internal/outside problems and to solve any that crop up
Skills:
Tebogo was put through experiential courses to sharpen his technical skills in order to be in a best position to properly deliver on expected outcomes. Some of the courses which Tebogo went through are Opencast blasting operations and Legal Liability
Lehlogonolo is a diversified professional who has worked in a number of projects concerning mining and exploration geology. Lehlogonolo has created a solid relationship with some of the industry consultants, thus allowing him to be a team player in the industry. Lehlogonolo is currently appointed as a Production Manager of Legare Mining Services wherein he brings with him a wealth of expertise in team management, swift running of the operation while maintaining maximum efficiency of the team he is working with.
Lehlogonolo’s working career started at the Council for Geoscience (CGS) in 2006 where he was appointed as an experiential trainee while still studying towards his National Diploma in Geology. He was then appointed as a Geology Technician in 2008 after completing his National Diploma. Whist at the Council for Geoscience, Lehlogonolo was exposed to South African Minerals and commodities, working with survey instruments, sampling, core logging and compilation of geological maps and reports.
Lehlogonolo was appointed as a Junior Coal Geologist a by Andersen Geological Consulting in 2011 and as a Coal Exploration Geologist at Eurasian Natural Resource Corporation (ENRC) in 2012, wherein he gained valuable operational and supervisory experience in Coal mining and Exploration. During this time Lehlogonolo played an active role in field mapping, borehole logging, drill supervision, site preparation, site rehabilitation as well as liaising with drilling contractors and exploration manager to enhance the overall performance of the exploration project. Whilst working at ENRC on a Coal Prospecting project in Mozambique, Lehlogonolo had an opportunity to work with industry experts from Australia and London while supervising a combined team of 10 junior geologist and field technicians. Lehlogonolo managed to kick start 5 coal exploration concessions under the guidance of his Exploration Manager until the completion of the projects. He then pursued his career to be more involved in geotechnical investigation and Diamond Valuations.
Apart from a National Diploma in Geology, Lehlogonolo also holds a BSc. Honours Degree in Applied Geology and a Diploma in Project Management. Furthermore, he holds a certificate of competency in Mining Engineering as well as a Certificate in Rough Diamond Grading and Valuation, a certificate in Geotechnical Soil Profiling, Core and Chip Logging. All these lead to Lehlogonolo being appointed in various capacities within the industry.
Prior to joining Legare Mining In 2019 Lehlogonolo was a Government Diamond Valuator employed by the South African Diamond Regulator, wherein he gained valuable experience and sharpened his interpersonal skills whilst liaising with clients, producers or manufactures.
Kagiso is a meticulous, hard-working and focused professional who has a fair track record in the identification of probable risks, incidents and accidents prevention strategies as well as implementation of safety regulations. Kagiso has considerable experience in the field of Health and Safety management at workplaces and is knowledgeable in drawing-up safe operational procedures and making recommendations following any accidents, near misses and/or incidents. Kagiso possess good communication skills with the ability to communicate both with subordinates as well as his superiors.

Kagiso was given further skills development training to study COMSOC 1&2 to enhance his knowledge and skills, after completing the short courses he was awarded a bursary by Legare Mining Services to study towards a Degree in Disaster Management and Occupational Health and Safety.
